AN INDO-PORTUGUESE EBONY AND IVORY INLAID ROSEWOOD BOX AND COVER
18TH CENTURY
Each facet decorated with flowers picked out in ivory amidst scrolling leaves in ebony, with a circular medallion of stylised floral and foliate designs to the centre of the cover, with metal handles to the sides and further metal flowerheads to the cover, the interior with later fittings, 13cm x 48cm 33cm.
