A PAIR OF CHINESE CLOISONNE 'QUAIL' INCENSE BURNERS AND COVERS

18TH CENTURY

Each standing on clawed feet with its head turned to the side and its beak open, the birds with turquoise-blue bodies and white breast feathers, their wings forming the detachable covers and enamelled in red, yellow, purple, green, black and white, 17.5cm. (4)
