A CHINESE BRONZE 'BAGUA' WATERPOT

LATE MING DYNASTY

The octagonal-section body cast in relief with the Eight Trigrams, the top with a small circular opening surrounded by a raised lip and two incised mythical beasts with bifurcated tails, the surface with a rich brown patina, 5.1cm, 258g.
