A CHINESE HARDWOOD WEIQI BOX-SHAPED INCENSE BOX AND COVER
QING DYNASTY
The compressed circular body supported on a short foot, the cover formed with circular recesses, with rings incised to the interior and underside of the cover, the wood with a warm patina, 8.1cm. (2)
Provenance: from an Australian private collection, formed in the 1980s and 1990s.
