FOUR TIBETAN TRIBUTE SILK BUDDHIST TEMPLE HANGINGS AND A CHABLUK

18TH/19TH CENTURY

Two of the hangings a pair and decorated with stylised clouds and various scrolling flowers, another woven with floral and foliate designs, the fourth depicting a confronting dragon, the chabluk fitted with its original water bottle and cords, together with a copy of Chinese Silks and Sewing Tools by Jocelyn Chatterton, 64cm. (6)
