A CHINESE KESI 'WUFU' PANEL
LATE 19TH CENTURY
Finely woven with a confronting dragon above crashing waves and amidst stylised clouds, surrounded by five bats symbolising the Five Blessings of health, wealth, long life, love of virtue, and the hope of a natural death, mounted on silk together with a copy of Chinese Silks and Sewing Tools by Jocelyn Chatterton, 42.5cm x 49cm.
