A CHINESE UNDERGLAZE COPPER-RED SNUFF BOTTLE AND AN ENAMELLED SNUFF BOTTLE
19TH CENTURY
One with a cylindrical body and decorated in underglaze red with scrolling lotus designs, the other painted in coloured enamels with cockerels, a four character Kangxi mark to the base, 7.7cm. (2)
Provenance: the enamelled snuff bottle formerly in the Marriott and Sangorski collection.
