A large William De Morgan Persian twin-handled vase, painted to both sides with a frieze of three exotic birds on a foliage ground, the foliage with arched snake motif, in shades of blue, turquoise and ochre on a white ground, the swollen neck with a frieze of stylised birds inside and out, unsigned, minor glaze chips to top rim, 45.5.cm. high
