Description
An Aesthetic Movement ebonised wood table, hexagonal section, with small circular shelf supported on radiating stretchers, the carved under-tier with turned, knopped legs, carved panels of decoration with painted gilt highlights, 92cm. diam, 76cm. high
Provenance
Commissioned as part of a fourteen piece suite of furniture by a Miss Sutcliffe of Halifax circa 1875.
