A pair of Hardman Powell & Co painted wrought iron gates for St Mary's Church Derby designed by Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin, scrolling form with gold trefoil terminals and heraldic M, below trefoil fleur de lys and points, cast Hardman Powell & Co panel, 119cm. high, 61cm wide (each), (2)

In 1837, the church of St Mary was Pugin's first major parish church commission. This pair of gates were removed from the church during the mid 1980s when a refurbishment was undertaken.
