A Victorian red japanned tôle shop display canister, with a hinged lid, the front with a gilt border decoration, inscribed 'CHOCOLADE 2', the back with an oval stamp, inscribed 'JOHN A. GILBERT & CO. MAKERS LONDON', 25.4cm high, 33.2cm wide, 22.5cm deep.
