A late George III mahogany knife box, with kingwood banding and boxwood and ebonised stringing, the sloping lid revealing a fitted interior, the matrix with forty-five apertures, the front with a silver handle and escutcheon hallmarked for London 1809, on ball feet, 39.3cm high, 23cm wide, 30.7cm deep.
