λ A 19th century French rosewood writing slope, inlaid with brass stringing, the hinged slope with a cartouche engraved with initials 'L C', revealing a tooled velvet lined slope and a pen tray with a lid with an ivory handle, the further hinged top revealing divisions for pens and ink, 29.7cm wide, 24.7cm deep.
