A Victorian presentation snuff box, of shaped oblong outline with scroll engraving and gilt interior, the cover inscribed "To John King Esq from Edward Stuart as a small tribute of respect and regard for the very many valuable instances of his friendship towards his Nephews & Nieces 27oct. 1842", by Edward Smith, Birmingham 1842, in a fitted case, 3.75in (9.5cm) long, 2.6oz.
