A George III silver Old English pattern soup ladle,
by Hester Bateman, London 1773, circular shell bowl, the terminal with a crest and initials, plus a George III silver soup ladle, by Robert Garrard, London 1817, circular shell bowl, the terminal with a Rococo scroll motif, crested, approx. total weight 11.7oz. (2)
The first crest is that of Felbridge or Rawson, the second crest is that of Athanray, Bagot, Delaval, Dyer, Gardiner, Garforth, Gason, Kyngesley, and other families.
