An unusual pair of George III silver Fiddle and Thread pattern serving tongs,
by Eley, Fearn and Chawner, London 1812,
scissor action, ring finger holes, one of the bowls with tines, the reverse of the bowl with a crowned crest, length 28cm, approx. weight 7.5oz.
The crest is that of 4th Earl Poulett.
