A late 18th century French provincial tasse de vin, with a serpent ring handle, chased fluting around the lower bowl and scratched "G.F. BARCQ. T", maker's mark "MCHN", (charge and discharge marks for Poiters), possibly Chatellerault c.1773, 3.1in (8cm) diameter, 3.25oz.
