Description

A George III silver-mounted cut-glass goblet,
the mounts by Robert Garrard, London 1810,
the mount of tapering circular form, Greek key border, applied with three mourning brooches, of oval form with plaited hair and enamelled 'Julia Howard OB. 12 Jan 1808, one with 'Eliz. 27 Nov.0', 'Edwd 2nd July 5' and 'Julia 2 Oct 7', the other 'Elizabeth Howard OB 4 Dec 1810', height 13.3cm.
Provenance: Sold by the Executors of the late Pamela Spater (d.2018), Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
