A George IV silver-gilt vinaigrette,
by John Reily, London 1821,
rectangular form, engine-turned decoration, foliate borders, the hinged cover applied with an oval micro-mosaic panel of a dancing couple, (old crack to panel), the interior with a pierced and engraved foliate scroll grille, in a later modern Asprey fitted case, length 4.3cm, approx. weight 1.5oz.
