A medieval-style gold signet ring, c1500, engraved with a Tau cross surrounded by droplets depicting the tears or blood of Christ, inscription to interior 'tout ma vie' French for 'all my life' with remnants of niello, in yellow gold, size M 1/2 approximately
Accompanied by a letter from the Treasure Registrar at the British Museum confirming that the Crown's interest in the find has been disclaimed.
