Description
Two delftware vases or guglets c.1750-60, of bottle form with long necks tapering to a flared rim, one painted with a large chrysanthemum spray beside bamboo, the other with flowering Oriental branches, the neck with husk chains, some chipping to the rims, 25cm max. (2)
Provenance: respectively acquired from Goold, Cambridge, 3rd November 1969; and Puttick & Simpson, 21st March 1967, lot 210.
