Description

Two delftware plates c.1750-70, the first Bristol or London and painted in manganese with Arion riding a dolphin, with sailing boats in the background and tall sponged trees to one side, the other of pancake shape and painted with a simple house flanked by bare trees, the rim with stylized leaf motifs, some damages and restoration, 22.5cm max. (2)
