Central Desert, Australia, possibly Dieri group,
with convex sides, one with fine incised linear decoration, the other with wider flutes, with remains of red ochre, the tips re-shaped, late 19th century,
83.5cm wide.

Peter Manoel was a shearing contractor who collected widely in Western Queensland, West of the Darling river and the corner country in South Australia from the 1940's to the later 1960's. The collection was purchased at Broken Hill in 1972.
