After the antique. A late 18th century Italian carved marble Grand Tour bust of Lysimachus, on later marble plinth, 62cm high (overall).
Lysimachus (c.360 BC -281 BC) was a Macedonian officer and successor to Alexander the Great. He became a King in 306 BC, ruling Thrace, Asia Minor and Macedonia.
