λ A 19th century satinwood and painted secrétaire bookcase, decorated with bands of flowers and inlaid with stringing and rosewood banding, the shaped cornice with three urn finials decorated with leaves and classical portrait busts, above a pair of Chinese lantern astragal glazed doors enclosing a silk lined interior with three adjustable shelves, the secrétaire fitted with pigeonholes and drawers with bone handles and a later writing surface, above three long drawers fitted with silver plated navette shape handles, on bracket feet, 249 high, 117.5cm wide, 53cm deep.
