Description

λ A William IV rosewood and brass marquetry sewing box, with egg and dart borders and inlaid with scrolling leaves, the hinged lid with a gilt tooled leather letter pouch to the underside, with a paper lined interior and a lift-out tray with divisions and lidded compartments containing various utensils, including: thimbles, reel holders, a shuttle, buttons, boxes etc, with gilt brass cornucopia handles, on flattened bun feet, 15.9cm high, 29.8cm wide, 21.3cm deep.
