λ A William IV rosewood sewing box, of sarcophagus shape, inlaid with brass stringing and with egg and dart mouldings, the hinged lid with a shaped plaque with engraved initials, revealing a silk lined interior, with a letter pouch to the underside of the lid, with a lift-out tray with lidded compartments, utensils, reels, a thimble and assorted related items, with a printed paper trade label 'Sold at MANSFIELDS LONDON FANCY WAREHOUSE 15, GRAFTON STRT Work Boxes, Dressing Cases, Jewellery, Combs, Toys & C. & C.', 30cm wide.
