λ A mid-19th century Anglo-Indian ivory and sadeli writing slope, inlaid with ebony banding and mosaic rondels and triangular motifs, the hinged lid revealing a sandalwood interior with lidded compartments, divisions and a pen tray, the hinged front revealing a plush lined writing surface and two drawers, Western India, Bombay, 15.4cm high, 37.3cm wide, 26.6cm deep.
