Description
λ A Victorian burr walnut dressing case, with brass and white metal stringing and edging, the hinged lid inset with a gilt tooled leather mirror and a letter pouch, above a twin hinged lift-out tray fitted with silver topped glass boxes and jars hallmarked for London 1858 and fitted with ivory handled utensils, including: a corkscrew, glove stretchers and a nail file, with further divisions and a lidded compartment, the brass locks stamped 'W.T. & S IMPROVED', 13.7cm high, 28.2cm wide.
