An early George III gold etui, c.1765, of shaped quiver form, all sides with foliate enamel decoration with two putti above naked mabels holding cornucopia, the hinged cover with enamel bird to each side above a shell, rotating and hinged suspension loop, rose-cut diamond thumbpiece which releases a hinged lid and contains a glass scent bottle with gold rim and conforming enamel decoration, with an enamel duck terminal to the gold stopper, the scent bottle 4.4cm high, 11.5cm high max
