A PAIR OF LARGE CHINESE HEXAGONAL LACQUERED WOOD STANDS
19TH CENTURY
Each finely embellished with polychrome and gilt decoration against a black ground, the hexagonal tops with mountainous watery landscape scenes surrounded by cartouches enclosing lotus sprays against a diaper ground, the shoulder, tall legs and base decorated all over with flowerheads amidst scrolling foliage, 97.5cm.
