A LARGE INDIAN STONE CARVING OF AN ATTENDANT
PROBABLY C.5TH CENTURY
The female figure stands in tribhanga beneath a large lotus leaf issuing from a long stem held in her right hand, supported on a modern metal stand, 78cm.
Provenance: from a Belgian private collection, acquired at Sotheby's London in 1988.
