A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE 'IMMORTALS' SLEEVE VASES
LATE QING DYNASTY
Each painted with two Immortals standing upon a log raft with a basket of blooming flowers and lingzhi between them, with stylised turbulent waves around them, all beneath a flying crane and a pavilion set amidst rocks, with six character Yongzheng marks to the bases, 35.2cm. (2)
Provenance: from the collection of Mr Norman Hall (d.1976), Hertfordshire, and thence by descent.
