A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE CORAL-GROUND OVOID VASES AND COVERS
19TH CENTURY
Each painted with two large cartouches enclosing ladies with attendants and being admired in a garden, the scenes divided by smaller panels containing precious objects and butterflies in flight above chrysanthemum and rockwork, each cover decorated with three boys at play, all reserved on a bold orange ground, with six character Qianlong marks to the bases, 25.5cm.
