A CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE BARBER'S BOWL
KANGXI 1662-1722
The deep oval body decorated with a quatrefoil cartouche enclosing a pair of Mandarin ducks in flight around blossoming peony, surrounded by bamboo and grape vines growing amidst fencing, the rim with fan and leaf-shaped panels containing a chrysanthemum spray, a bird perched on a prunus branch and a landscape scene, reserved on a green ground of fruiting and flowering branches, 35cm.
