A CHINESE UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND RED 'MYTHICAL CREATURES' BOWL
SIX CHARACTER KANGXI MARK AND POSSIBLY OF THE PERIOD
The U-shaped body painted to the exterior with three mythical beasts standing upon rocks above rolling waves, with stylised flames between them, all between blue double rings encircling the foot and mouthrim, 18.8cm.
