TWO CHINESE POLYCHROME FIGURES OF LUOHANS
QIANLONG 1736-95
Each depicted seated holding an alms bowl in one hand upon his raised right knee, wearing gilt-decorated robes, each with a single shoe before him and one with a fly whisk by his side, their laughing faces detailed with wrinkles and teeth, the base of each impressed with a seal mark reading Hu Lian Xing ji, each raised on an ormolu base cast with lappets, 12cm high overall.
