A MOGHUL GEM-SET PENDANT ADAPTED FROM A HAIRPIN

18TH/19TH CENTURY

The central emerald set within a row of diamonds, one end terminating in a lion head, attached to a chain suspending a Renaissance model of a goat, 8cm.

Provenance: formerly the collection of the Lambrechts family, Brussels, acquired in the 1970s; and then a Belgian private collection.
