TWO CHINESE JADE CARVINGS
QING DYNASTY
One a heart-shaped bead carved with a stylised taotie mask head, the other a ring carved with a chilong in a brown and celadon stone, 5cm and 5.3cm. (2)
Provenance: from an Australian private collection, the mask head acquired in London 1980s/90s, the jade ring acquired in Melbourne, Australia, from Josh McCleland's print room in the 1990s.
