A FRENCH INKSTAND IN JAPANESE KAKIEMON STYLE
19TH CENTURY
Possibly Samson imitating Chantilly, the ink pot with an inner liner and lid raised on a quatre-lobed dish, the well painted with the Three Friends of Winter (bamboo, prunus and chrysanthemum), a red hunting horn mark to the base, 18.3cm. (3)
