Spain, Cross for the Pronunciation of 1st September 1840, gilt and enamels, 21 mm, eight armed cross with a wreath, the Arms of Madrid and 'PRONUNCIAMIENTO DE 1 DE SET 1840' to the obverse, 'CONSTITCION DEL ANO 1837' across the pages of a book to the reverse, very fine; together with a uniface version of the same award, 21.2 mm, very fine.
