Spain, Cross for the Volunteers of Liberty, 1868-71 (2), gilt and enamels 37.7 mm, arms formed as sword blades, a variant of the last with a banner in place of the wreath, both nearly extremely fine. [2]

Issued in the reign of Amadeo I for members of the voluntary constitutionalist security forces originally formed under his predecessor Isabel II.
