λ A Victorian 1831 pattern General Officer's sword, curved blade 31.5 in. with etched decoration, retailed by Phelps & Co. Calcutta; regulation gilt brass hilt with button terminal quillons and crossed sword and baton to the ecousson, ivory pistol grip; brass scabbard retaining some gilding.
