A Martin Brothers stoneware jug by Robert Wallace Martin, dated 1885, incised and painted with a pair of Australian mocking birds perched in a tree, glazed brown and ochre on a buff ground, incised 3-85 R W Martin & Bros, London & Southall, professional restoration to top rim, 22cm. high
