A set of eight George III mahogany 'Hepplewhite' dining chairs, each with an oval back with a pierced splat carved with leaves, drapes and a guilloche band, above a stuffed-over seat covered in damask fabric, on square tapering front legs with spade feet united by an 'H' stretcher, the back rail stamped with workman's initials 'I R'. (8)
Provenance: Purchased by the current vendor from Lennox Cato at the BADA Antiques Fair in 2013.
