λ A George III mahogany square piano by John Broadwood & Son, the case inlaid with stringing and purpleheart and satinwood banding, with applied gilt brass paterae, signed 'JNO Broadwood & Son, London, Great Pulteney Street, Golden Square' and dated '1794 Patent', with ivory naturals and ebony accidentals, on square tapering legs and brass castors, 86.8cm high, 159cm wide, 54.1cm deep.
