Description
A 19th century Swiss mandoline-expressive zither walnut musical box by Paillard Vaucher et Fils, the thirteen inch cylinder playing eight airs, with a full length PVF zither attachment, serial number '14071', with a printed and hand-written tune-sheet, the part ebonised case with kingwood banding and decorated with parquetry diamond lozenges, with brass side carrying handles, 19cm high, 61.3cm wide, 26.7cm deep.
