Description
A 19th century French gilt brass and porcelain miniature carriage timepiece by Drocourt, the eight day movement with a platform lever escapement, the backplate with an oval 'D C' trademark and numbered '54', the base also stamped 'DROCOURT PARIS 8353', the porcelain circular dial with gilt Roman numerals, above an 18th century harbour scene, the mignonette no.1 size cannelee case with four further porcelain panels painted with nautical scenes, 8cm high (handle down), in a fitted leather case with key.
