Description
A late 19th century French marble and ormolu mantel clock, the eight day brass drum movement striking on a bell, numbered '2741 311' and stamped with a pastille 'MEDAILLE 'DARGENT VINCENTI', the circular enamel dial with Arabic numerals and decorated with floral swags, inscribed 'ELKINGTON & CO LTD', the Louis XVI style case surmounted by a pair of lovebirds and with Cupid and a warrior cherub, on lion's paw feet, 26.4cm high.
