Description
A French Charles X gilt and patinated bronze mantel clock, the eight day brass drum movement with an outside countwheel and striking on a bell, with silk suspension, stamped 'GG 2131', with a pastille 'Lons Medaille D'Or 1827', with a silvered circular dial with Roman numerals, the case modelled with a figure of Christopher Columbus seated on rocks, with a globe, a map and an anchor, above a lappet and scroll decorated base, 42.8cm high.
